Home Care for Your Nail Enhancements

CUTICLE OIL  Massage the oil into the cuticle at least once a day!  Not only will your cuticles thank you, but it really does help prevent product lifting!

WEAR GLOVES when performing household chores, working in the garden or whenever you use cleaning solutions of any kind.   A good guideline to follow:  if you wouldn't want in on your face, you don't want it on your nails!  Water is the exception here, wearing gloves while washing dishes, the dog, etc is a good idea.

AVOID REPETITIVE OR SEVERE PRESSURE  on your nail enhancements.  These can lead to cracks or broken nails. The Golden Rule: treat your nails as jewels, not tools!

LIFTING  Should any lifting occur between visits, please do not attempt to glue the area that has lifted or broken.  Doing so can result in moisture/bacteria being trapped, and you know what THAT can lead to!  I offer free repairs within the first two weeks for regular enhancement clients.  If you can't get in for a repair, keep the nail as dry as possible.

Return to the salon on a regular schedule for maintenance.  If you wait too long, your nails will begin to grow out, becoming "unbalanced"  and are more prone to breakage.
